The Kas Pathar or Kas Plateau is actually a breathtaking valley of flowers in the state of Maharashtra and situated in Tapola. The period post monsoon from the month of August to November is an amazing time to watch this vast plateau transform into a bed of flowers. There are more than 150 varieties of flowers that can be found here.
The nearby Kas Lake is another beauty that is at its scenic best during this post-monsoon phase.
Tapola Camp site is near about Twenty Five km. from Mahableshwar situated in Sahyadri's Beautiful valley. Tapola is famous as "Mini Kashmir" of Maharashtra. We have made arrangement for tourists and trekkers to stay in tent in nature. Our accommodation is very safe and secure. We are also welcoming you for our homemade veg. & non-veg. food. Tapola Camp Site is just on the bank of Koyana River.
Day1-27th Sep.2014: Mumbai to Tapola (Mumbai-Pune Express Highway 290kms & Mumbai-Goa Road 243kms Approx.7hrs) Early morning departure from Mumbai to Tapola. On the Way Breakfast & Lunch at Tapola camp site. After lunch time take rest & enjoy games on site. Camp fire followed by Dinner. Night stay at site.
Day2:-28th Sep.2014 Tapola to Kas Pathar to Mumbai: Enjoy the morning; picturesque beauty of Tapola site. Have delicious breakfast & move towards Kas Pathar. One can see picturesque scene of “Karvi” & other lots of flowers’ bed. In afternoon have hot delicious Lunch & departure towards Mumbai. Reach Mumbai at.9:00pm with unforgettable memories & refreshed mind.
Cost per person: Rs.4100/- per pax. (In 1 Tent - 6 pax sharing basis)
